"I want a natural birth"
Sunday was humid. The clinic stank. It seemed the sewage tank overflowed. Patients sat with longsuffering looks at the reception area. Expectant women. Fathers. Young children. The crowd seemed heavier than usual. My hubby was expected back at his work place due to an urgent project that afternoon. It usually took about an hour of waiting. That day, it took three. News were not so thrilling either.
"The baby's head has not engaged."
My mind went, I want a natural birth.
"There is a possibility of CPD".
I want a natural birth.
"Come back Tuesday and we will do another check."
I want a natural birth.
"I want to delivery naturally. Please pray baby will come earlier. The expected due date is 22 August. Otherwise, it might be a C-sec." I told hubby. We prayed.
"I want a natural birth..." was playing in my mind as I slept.
