Milestone: Of rhythms, sounds and songs

I have been rather lackadaisical of late. Health had been up and down in the month of June. But thankfully, by the grace of God, health is much better this month. Finally. :) So what has been happening?

Milestone: little sounds
Mid June or so, I woke up one morning to hear little clapping sounds. A few days prior to this, I finally decided to show him the step-by-step techniques of clapping. Yes, straigthen your fingers, and hit both palms of your hands together. Around that period, Alpha bought him a Blue's Clues (Blue's Big Band) which featured rhythm recognition, music appreciation, and the like. Then on that morning, I discovered the little one was indeed seated up in his cot and clapping his little hands. The Lord has brought growth. (yes, it's very flattering when the mother wakes up and upon seeing her awake, he claps. heheheehe).

Secondly: Two days ago, Alpha suddenly pointed out that he was making noises in a sing-songy way. We had also been watching Jason Upton's dvd together hehehe.

Moreover, in recent weeks, I noticed that one of the ladies on Monday had -- at least twice -- been giving him little piano introductions. She puts him on her lap and let him thunk the keys while she plays so that mama can eat her lunch. Since then, he has gotten more aware of the keyboard at home. He tries to climb the playpen -- when it is positioned near the instrument -- and tries to reach out to play with the keys.

I was asking Alpha whether he thinks Baby likes drums (since Hubba plays drums).
Hubby's observation is that he'd probably like the keyboard -- judging from his response to the Jason Upton dvd and his eagerness to thunk the keyboard keys :) So has he been singing too? Hmmm...
