When you truly search for Him with all your heart

When you truly search for Him with all your heart, 
In wholehearted earnesty
Casting aside cynicism and in humility
You will be found by Him. 

God is speaking to us. 
He is still speaking
He is speaking to you and to me
He has been, and has not stopped. 
It echoes, My sheep hears My voice.

He speaks through creation
He speaks through the  soft caress of the wind on your face
He speaks through the gentle dewdrops found in the early morning
He speaks through the sunshine that peeks in on you as dawn arrives
He speaks through the silence found in the deep of the night
He speaks through the orchestra of the cicadas in the warm night

He speaks through the clear blue skies
He speaks through the soft gentle rain 
He speaks through the rolling thunder in the storm
He is constantly speaking, echoing in space and time

When your heart suddenly feels empty -
- a deep sense of homesickness though you are home,
He is speaking
He speaks when you are filled with love
He speaks when a sense of comfort comes in a time of loss
He speaks when a thrill of joy breaks the melancholy and despair
When fear is suddenly replaced by peace
Confusion by clarity
And darkness by light
He is whispering His Name to you
The Prince of Peace is His name
The God of Love is He
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life 

He speaks in the voice of the conscience 
He speaks in the bustle through thoughts and imagery
He speaks through the vision of the night
He speaks through the visions of the heart
He speaks, but do we understand?

He speaks in the still small voice
He speaks in your audible thoughts that brings light
He speaks urgent and loud
He speaks in the quiet tones 
He speaks always
Just not in our definitions of language
He speaks God. 

Finally He speaks in human form
Of the Word made flesh
Of the Name revealed 
In a Name above other names
Is God revealed
His Name is Christ, the Messiah
Jesus Christ.
