On the road again ... with thankfulness

When hubby's last day of work arrived last Wednesday, and when he came home, I suddenly felt like my life had been in "paused". And the "paused" button just got de-pressed/released. And things are back on a roll.

I did not realise my life had been on the "paused" button. And seriously wonder how long it had been? Seriously. Was it just really a few months? Was it 3 years? Was it 9 years? Hubby himself said - that till he get off this road, everything is on hold.

Like we had camped for a while, and now the journey is continuing. And a friend also shared a personal word that served as an encouragement though she had not idea what was happening. Amazing how faithful our Lord is to watch over us when we are clueless and even blind at times. hahaha. I laughed because I am amazes how dense we can be. hahahaha. May the Lord grant us sight to see His plans and purposes so we can work with Him.

I look forward to seeing God's faithfulness as we strive to follow Him. He has just been so good, even when we are in or out of season. Isn't that just like Him? He has not changed at all - ever so faithful, ever so good. Simply amazing, that it takes your breath away at how good the Lord is. Thank You, Father.

Upon this short reflection, it's also amazing how connected the lives of husbands and wives are -- and we dont realise it - how much we can affect each other - for better or worse. I hope and pray that the Lord will grant me wisdom to be a better wife and mother so we can serve Him together better than before.
