the duck and chicken spoke to each other
Our baby is now 4 months plus.. and he feels more like a companion now than just a baby that babbles sounds. I see a look of relief when I wild-guess his need correctly. It's a learning curve. What do you want, baby?
It seems he understands what we say. It's just us, I feel, as parents, do not take enough time to learn their language. Imagine what would happen if truly a group of linguists will sit down with baby after baby, pens poised in the air, and ask, "So, this sound 'agooooo' means you want food??" Then having witness the relief in the babies' eyes, pen down, Agoo = food. Then give them their milk.
How many babies will tell you, "Apoo" when they have pooed? Recently, I have heard two others acknowledged they ave heard the same word spoken by babies to communicate they have pooed. Perhaps there is a secret language. And perhaps we just have not had the patience to learn them because we have not given them our 100%? Or bother to write it down because we think it's just "ooohhs aaaaahhhh"... hehehehehe. Maybe this is just the imagination of a new mom... or maybe it's true? anyone wants to share???
